These terms apply when you submit a request through FindMyPro.

FindMyPro is an introduction service. We help you describe what you need and connect you with an independent local professional. We do not carry out, supervise or guarantee the work.

By submitting a request, you agree to these terms.

Your request

Please provide accurate information about what you need and tell us if your requirements change.

If someone else's permission is needed for the work, you are responsible for obtaining it before the work starts.

We may contact you to clarify your request or help arrange an introduction.

Providers and the work

Providers are independent from FindMyPro. Any contract for work is between you and the provider.

You and the provider agree the scope of work, quotation, price, timing, payment and any cancellation terms directly.

You should satisfy yourself that the provider is suitable for your needs and has any qualifications, licences or insurance relevant to the work.

An introduction by FindMyPro is not a guarantee of the provider or their work.

Introductions

We do not guarantee that a provider will accept your request, contact you, provide a quotation, attend, complete the work or offer any particular price or result.

We normally share your request with one relevant provider at a time. If they cannot help or do not respond, we may share it with another provider.

For some requests, a provider may have a commercial first-refusal opportunity. This means FindMyPro may offer your request to that provider first for a limited period before considering other suitable providers. It does not guarantee that the provider will accept, contact you, quote, or carry out the work, and it does not prevent us from introducing another provider if the first provider declines, does not respond, cannot help, or the offer expires.

Your information and communications

We may share the contact and request details needed for a provider to respond to your request.

FindMyPro and any provider we introduce may contact you about that request. This does not give a provider permission to use your details for unrelated marketing.

Fees

FindMyPro does not charge you for an introduction.

Providers may pay FindMyPro for introductions or leads. Any amount you pay for the work itself is agreed directly with the provider.

Problems and complaints

Any problem with a provider's quotation, service, payment or work should normally be raised directly with the provider.

Liability and your rights

FindMyPro is responsible for the introduction service it provides. We are not responsible for how a provider performs the work or for losses caused by a provider, except where the law makes FindMyPro responsible.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in place when you submit your request will apply to that request.
